A total of five hundred seedlings were planted by the Rt Hon Speaker Alban S K Bagbin and the First Deputy Speaker Joseph Osei Owusu and some members of the Leadership.
The Clerk to Parliament Cyril Nsiah and his Deputies, as well as officials of the Service also planted trees as part of this year’s Green Ghana Day.
Speaker Bagbin also inspected trees planted on previous ocassions to mark the day.
He indicated his commitment to maintaining a green environment for a sustenable future.
