The Nandom Advocacy Group (NAG) USA has once again demonstrated its commitment to the development of the Greater Nandom Traditional Area by donating physiotherapy equipment worth over GHS 70,000 to St. Theresa’s Hospital.
The donation, which includes a treadmill, gun massage machine, infrared machine, stationary bicycle, wall bar, ultrasound machine, pulley, parallel bar, staircase, and hot pack machine, is part of NAG’s continued efforts to improve healthcare services in the area. The donation follows a request from the hospital’s management to retool its Physiotherapy Department.
Professor Rev. Bro. Clement Naapire, a lecturer at SDD UBIDS, presented the items on behalf of NAG. He emphasized the group’s non-political and non-religious stance, stating that its sole aim is to unite sons and daughters of the Greater Nandom Traditional Area residing in the USA to support development back home. He encouraged the hospital to make good use of the equipment and treat patients with care and respect, despite the challenges they may sometimes present.

Mr. Ibrahim Yussif, a Deputy Director at the Nandom Municipal Assembly, represented the Coordinating Director at the event. He commended NAG for its generosity and urged the hospital to maintain the donated equipment to ensure its longevity and effectiveness in serving the community.
NAG, a nonprofit organization, has historically focused on supporting St. Theresa’s Hospital through various donations, including medical equipment. The group has also recently launched a road safety campaign in collaboration with the Nandom Catholic Deanery and the Central Mosque to reduce motor accidents in the area. Looking ahead, NAG plans to expand its interventions to the education sector, making health and education its priority areas.
As a registered nonprofit, NAG welcomes support from individuals, especially those from the Greater Nandom Traditional Area, to help undertake more developmental projects in the community.
With this latest donation, NAG continues to reinforce its mission of fostering unity among Nandom natives in the USA while improving the lives of their people back home.
