The Paramount Chief of the Nandom Traditional Area, Naa Prof. Edmund Nminyem Delle Chiir VIII, has lauded President John Dramani Mahama for the nomination of a new Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for the Nandom Municipality.
In a press statement issued on Saturday, the Nandom Naa welcomed the appointment as a clear demonstration of the President’s dedication to the development and progress of the area.
He congratulated the nominee, Hon. Anthony Ziniel, alongside other government appointees, expressing confidence in their capacity to deliver on their mandates effectively. The Chief also extended best wishes for a smooth confirmation process and pledged the unwavering support of the Nandom Traditional Council.
“I urge all Assembly Members to prioritize the development of Nandom. Should the nominee be confirmed, he must work in collaboration with his predecessors, including former MP Hon. Ambrose Dery Esq., current MP Dr. Richard Ku-ire, and the Paramountcy, to accelerate the progress of our municipality,” the statement read.
Calling for unity among local stakeholders, the Nandom Naa emphasized the importance of collective effort in achieving sustainable development and prosperity for the municipality.
