A former NDC Parliamentary Candidate Aspirant for Wa Central, Alhaji Hudu Mogtari, has donated two laptops to the Upper West Regional Election Directorate. The donation aims to enhance the collation of results for the 2024 elections, responding to the directorate’s request for logistical support ahead of the crucial exercise.
While addressing the leadership of the election directorate, Alhaji Hudu Mogtari emphasized the importance of vigilance during the collation and transmission of election data. He remarked, “The electorates are ready to safeguard the ballot until the last one is counted. The responsibility lies on you to ensure that every vote is accounted for.”
Expressing gratitude for the gesture, the Upper West Regional Director of Elections, Ishmael Dibkuu, described the donation as timely and impactful. According to him, the laptops will streamline and expedite the collation of election results from constituencies across the region.
Mr. Dibkuu also said “We initially requested one laptop, but Alhaji Mogtari provided two. That is remarkable, and we are deeply grateful. These laptops will significantly enhance the efficiency of our work,” he noted.
Ishmael Dibkuu further assured the public of the party’s readiness to swiftly collate parliamentary and presidential election results. “The election directorate is fully prepared to deliver results within record time. We have the mechanisms in place to compile all results by 9 PM on December 7,” Mr. Dibkuu added.
The Upper West Regional leadership of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has set an ambitious target to secure victory in all 11 constituencies in the December polls, a goal they believe is achievable with enhanced logistical preparedness and dedicated teamwork
