Wa Sore Nante FC emerged victorious in the 2023/2024 Upper West Regional Division II League securing the championship after an unbeaten run.
The decisive moment came on the final day when Wa Sore Nante FC beat Real 24 Hours FC on Sunday, 23rd June 2024.
The journey to the top was not without its challenges. Wa Sore Nante FC had a slow start in the middle league but found their rhythm to climb the standings.
Their campaign was marked by three victories and two draws, accumulating 11 points from five matches. They scored nine goals while conceding only two, demonstrating both offensive prowess and defensive solidity.
This victory not only crowns Wa Sore Nante FC as champions but also earns them a coveted spot in the Access Bank Division One League.
The team’s consistent performance has set a high bar for their future in the higher division.
Trailing behind Wa Sore Nante FC, T.F Exponential FC and Malima FC each secured nine points, while Real 24 Hours FC finished with seven points, clinching the MTN qualification spot. Unfortunately, Kowie Eva Stars FC managed just one point, and Wa Sombo Freedom Stars ended their campaign without a point.
