The District Chief Executive (DCE) and two-time Parliamentary Candidate for Daffiama Bussie Issa, Hon. Nadi Imoro Sanda, has outlined an ambitious plan for the district as he seeks to secure the parliamentary seat in the upcoming elections.
Speaking exclusively to Upperwestnews, com, Hon. Sanda emphasized his unwavering commitment to the development of the district and detailed several key initiatives that he plans to implement if elected.
He pledged to tackle critical issues such as healthcare, infrastructure, agriculture, and youth employment saying “As your District Chief Executive and Parliamentary candidate, I am dedicated to transforming our beloved Daffiama Bussie Issa District into a thriving hub of opportunity and growth.”
One of his top priorities is the establishment of a Nursing Training School, which aims to address the shortage of healthcare professionals in the district.
“This institution will provide quality education and training to aspiring nurses, ensuring they acquire the skills and knowledge necessary to deliver exceptional healthcare services,” Hon. Sanda stated.
He believes this investment will improve healthcare outcomes, benefiting the entire district.
In terms of infrastructure development, the DCE said he is committed to improving road networks, particularly in underserved communities.
He highlighted that better roads are crucial for economic growth, allowing the smoother movement of goods, services, and people.
For the district’s backbone, the agriculture sector, Hon. Sanda outlined a robust plan to increase productivity.
His initiatives include providing farmers with quality inputs and tractors, linking them to competitive markets, and offering capacity-building programs to enhance farming techniques.
By doing so, he aims to strengthen food security, create jobs, and stimulate local economic growth.
On the pressing issue of youth employment, Hon. Sanda proposed the establishment of job centers and training programs that would provide young people with employable skills.
He is also seeking partnerships with the private sector to create sustainable job opportunities for the district’s youth.
“Our youth deserve a bright future, and I am committed to helping them achieve it,” he asserted.
To ensure that his office remains accessible to the people, he promised to establish a constituency office, allowing citizens to share their concerns and receive timely support.
He also highlighted education as a key focus area, promising to provide scholarships and resources to students and ensure employability training.
Hon. Sanda, who unsuccessfully contested the 2020 parliamentary election, is running again with renewed determination.
“Together, let us build a brighter future for Daffiama Bussie Issa District. I am committed to delivering on these promises and creating opportunities for all,” he said as he urged voters to support his vision for transformation and progress.
