The Member of Parliament for Daffiama Bussie Issa (DBI) Constituency in the Upper West Region, Dr. Sabastian Sandaare, is confident of a decisive victory in the upcoming parliamentary election.
According to him, he will crush the parliamentary ambition of his closest opponent, Nadi Imoro Sanda. He said the defeat would compel the current District Chief Executive and New Patriotic Party’s parliamentary candidate to “hang his boots” after the polls.
Addressing NDC supporters after filing his nomination, Sandaare emphasized that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) is poised for a landslide victory across the nation.
“Vote for John Mahama and Sabastian Sandaare. The truth is, the wind of change is blowing, John Mahama will win, and Sabastian Sandaare will also win,” he opined.
His words reflect the high stakes of this election, where Sandaare seeks to secure another term in office, riding on the momentum of the NDC’s campaign for national leadership under former President John Dramani Mahama.
Sandaare sent a clear message to his opponent that the time for experimentation is over hinting at the perceived inexperience of his opponent. “We work with experience in parliament; we don’t send people there to experiment,” he stated.
In his view, experienced leadership is what the DBI constituency and the entire nation need to navigate the challenges of governance and bring about meaningful change.
The MP also underscored the importance of unity within the NDC and the broader electorate. “Let’s work in unity and vote massively for John Dramani Mahama and Sabastian Sandaare,” he encouraged.
For Sandaare, the NDC remains the only political party capable of delivering the prosperity, unity, and development that the country needs.
He painted a picture of a brighter future under an NDC administration, one that he believes would restore hope and bring lasting progress to the DBI constituency and beyond.
“The only party that can bring prosperity, unity, and development is the NDC,” he declared confidently.
As the campaign heats up, Sandaare predicts ta wider victory margin “You will marvel at our margin of victory,” he confidently stated.
Sabastian Sandaare, a seasoned politician, has held the DBI seat for the NDC since 2016 and is running for re-election with the hopes of continuing his work in Parliament.
His main opponent, representing the New Patriotic Party (NPP), is seen as a formidable challenger as he enters the election for the second time in a row.
However, Sandaare believes that his track record and the NDC’s popularity in the region will secure him a convincing win.
